Harvest Snaps is a brand launched by Calbee Australia to provide salty snacks that are a healthier alternative to traditional potato chips. Made from peas and available in a 5 star health rating, Harvest Snaps are targeted towards healthy-minded individuals.

As part of a small team with an ongoing relationship with Calbee, I worked to bring Harvest Snaps an exciting schedule of social media content every month. This ranged from building graphics, copywriting and 2D animation to photography, filming, and video editing and began with crafting concepts that would fit within existing social media strategies.

Wanting to use their mascot Penelopea to be more present in their social media, Harvest Snaps asked for a few fun videos that showed the brand’s wholesome personality but also connected to younger audiences with trendy and fun content.

Drawing upon narrative to garner interest, I planned and filmed some fun content with my coworkers while ensuring that the project reflected the client’s vision and resonated with their target audience.

From the selection of props, composition, photography, and editing, I created a series of five flatlay product photos for general digital use across the Harvest Snaps website and social media. The client was looking for stylish and professional product shots with props to represent various flavours of the main product line. The goal of my client and myself was to visually convey the diverse range of flavors available while maintaining a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
